Windermere House Care Home in Horsham are currently recruiting for a Registered Nurse to join our team on a full time basis. Surrounded by sweeping lawns and mature trees, our care centre near Horsham, West Sussex, provides excellent residential nursing care for older people. With an expert care team, including nurses on hand 24/7, we are proud to deliver the highest levels of service for our residents. Windermere House also offers support for those with long-term neurological conditions such as acquired brain injury, stroke, multiple sclerosis, and motor neurone disease. From our salt cave to our hydrotherapy pools, we take great pride in utilising assistive technology and an innovative approach to enhance the lifestyles of the people we support. We are looking for an exceptional individual with the right attitude, skills and knowledge who share our passion to deliver the best quality care experience. Skills, knowledge and qualifications required: •1st Level Nurse •Ability to communicate effectively at all levels •Genuine interest in working with the relevant Client group •Satisfactory Police Check and check against the POVA List (where applicable) Desired: •Team player •Experience and qualification in care for relevant Client category •Previous supervisory experience Key responsibilities: •To achieve the highest possible standard of care in a professional manner through direct nursing care and effective supervision of Staff Members. To take management responsibility for a shift as directed. •Ensure that all Staff Members contribute, to the best of their ability, to the efficient running of the Care Centre and the creation of an atmosphere conducive to the best interests of the Clients.
