Our residents are enjoying the newly refurbished bedrooms and communal spaces following a significant investment.
The refurbishment forms part of a wider £250,000 investment across Carsington Lodge and Windermere House, with extensive improvements made throughout the homes to enhance residents’ living environment.
At Carsington Lodge, all 40 bedrooms have been redecorated with fresh paint and fitted with new furniture, including beds, wardrobes, chests of drawers and curtains.
Communal areas have also been refreshed, while new dementia-friendly carpeting has been installed throughout the home. The flooring has been selected to support residents living with dementia by reducing visual confusion and creating clearly defined, comfortable spaces.
